About Us

Established in 2025, the Pottsville Fire Company, No. 1 is the product of the merger between the Humane Fire Company and the Phoenix Fire Company. Our mission is to provide fire protection to the City of Pottsville and surrounding communities. Currently the Pottsville Fire Company operates a 2014 Pierce Tractor-Drawn Aerial (Truck 21), a 1999 Seagrave Engine (Wagon 32), a 2004 Seagrave Engine (Engine 33), a 2014 Ford F-350 (Utility 34), and a 2009 M-Gator UTV (UTV 68-3)
